SQUID & OCTOPUS is very likely the single most common flavor in carp fishing in recent years, at least with regards to boilies. It is an immensly successful flavor that goes along well with loads of other ingredients, and works with multiple base mixes. Many an angler believe it to be a mandatory ingredient both for longer sessions targetting bigger fish, and for shorter sessions where an instant fish response is needed, sometimes on lakes where boilies are not common to begin with. It is commonly used in fishmeal boilies but it can be easily included in birdfood mixes as well. Can be used as staple stand-alone flavor, but also in combinations. It goes along well with fish and crustacean flavors, or with fruitty or spicy flavors. Absolute classics are Squid & Octopus + Monster Crab sau Squid & Octopus + Scopex. Squid & Octopus flavors are greatly enhanced by the use of a sweetener and our insider tip first and foremost is Thaumantin. If you really do want to add that extra little edge, use a few drops of Black Pepper Oil. Use high doses only if you are looking for instant attraction in short sessions. For prebaiting, medium or long sessions when you are looking for that bigger fish, use smaller doses. Recommended dose: 5-10ml per kilogram of mix.
