Pellets are one of our favorite baits ever, period! They stand out through a range of qualities: cheap price which does not forego a high nutrititional value as well as attractiveness and efficiency. We think they are fantastic for both drawing fish in and keeping them on the spot, without the risk of over-feeding. We usually combine pellets with boilies or particles, but larger pellets can be just as well used by themselves, even as hookbaits too. All of our pellets dissolve underwater, some faster than others, which is why we do recommend that you test every time you are on the lake, because size and composition matter in addition to water temperature on that exact day. In principle, smaller pellets go faster than larger ones, and the ones with a more airy structure (created through compression) go faster than the more compact ones (created through extrusion). How does one use pellets in his or her angling? Well quite simply you just take them out of the bag and use them either as initial bait, or to top up already baited spots. The more diverse assortments you use, the higher the results. This is precisely why experienced anglers never rely on just one type, but mix multiple sizes and flavors, with different dissolution times. Pellets break down gradually and each at their own unique pace, ranging from a few minutes to a few hours. A very popular way of using pellets today is attaching a small PVA bag to your rig, to offer an appetizing morsel next to your hook bait. For that extra edge we all want you can dip the PVA bag in any sort of dip or liquid attractant. Wait a few minutes for the pellets to soak in the liquid before casting out and you will get a high attraction bait that will undoubtedly draw fish in, even when they seem to not be willing to feed. Select Baits offers you some of the highest quality pellets you can find on the market today, with a very natural and organic profile. Fish them correctly, fish them with confidence and they will produce the goods!
