The soft polymer core ensures the suppleness needed for long and accurate casts, while the outer fluorocarbon layer provides high abrasion resistance and increased density, allowing the line to sink quick like a stone.

This fluorocarbon layer is further treated with a special resin that helps maintain extremely low permeability. As a result, the line does not absorb water and retains its original properties throughout your fishing session.

In addition to waterproofing, this resin acts as an abrasion protector and makes the line slide more easily through the rod guides. There is a possibility that the resin will not be evenly placed along the entire length of the line the first time you use it, when you spool the line onto the reel.

Our recommendation is to load the line onto the reel by pulling it through a cloth on which you have put a drop of degreaser (dishwashing detergent) and applying light pressure on the line if you want to remove this excess. Regardless of whether you do this or not, the resin will clean itself on your first fishing trip.
