Our Wide Gape hook displays a sturdy build with a slightly in-turned tip, which offers better protection when fishing on hard, gravel bottoms which are notorious for destroying hook sharpness.
The eye is slightly in-turned to help the hook turn. As an extra element of aggressiveness you can further help the hook turning by using a Line Aligner sleeve over the eye.
The wide gape design offers perfect hook holds while playing the fish.
Our hook works perfectly in basically all carp rigs, but we particularly recommend it for use with supple braids - by themselves or in combi-rig presentations.
The steel has undergone a special electrochemical procedure designed to strengthen the tip but also to create a matte coating which eliminates odd light reflections that damage rig camouflage.
