At the core of this model are two essential characteristics when evaluating a premium rod: low overall weight and fast tip recovery. While these features can be achieved individually with relative ease, combining them in a single rod reflects true product quality, built using top-grade materials.

The blank construction incorporates various types of carbon supplied by Toray Industries, a global leader in carbon fiber production. The Trofeo rod series includes Torayca 46-ton high-modulus prepreg, a type of carbon fiber that provides both rigidity and reduced weight.

The remaining components are equally impressive: the guides are SeaGuide Titanium RSolution, and the reel seat is Fuji TVS-K.

SeaGuide Titanium RSolution guides feature a new-generation ceramic insert with an ultra-slim profile, mounted on a titanium frame with anti-tangle legs. These guides are 45–55% lighter and more durable than traditional SiC guides.

The Fuji TVS-K reel seat, with its slim profile, offers excellent grip thanks to its ergonomic design. It is lightweight yet highly durable, making it a popular choice for high-end rod builds.

The handle is crafted from premium materials such as high-density AAA-grade Portuguese cork and EVA foam. Both materials provide a refined, classic appearance.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the Trofeo series consistently impresses. The design combines black elements, including a lacquered blank that creates a transparent effect, revealing the carbon weave structure beneath.

The metal components and thread wrappings are finished in violet—a noble color that highlights its position within an exclusive product category.

Logos and markings are rendered in silver, creating a strong contrast against the glossy black blank. All these elements come together to form a visually striking design, fitting for a modern, high-performance product.

The rods are supplied with a semi-rigid case made from PVC covered with Cordura-type textile material. The case features a full-length zipper, and the interior is divided into dedicated compartments for each section.

The 3.90m rod with a casting weight of 120g features a tip action, making it an ideal choice for comfortable fishing at distances of up to 100m and for use with heavy method feeders. Although it has a tip action, under heavy load the rod behaves like a progressive action rod. During casting, the tip section does most of the work, helping achieve distance and accuracy, while when hooking a large fish, the blank bends progressively, with the middle sections absorbing the shocks transmitted by the fish.
