CENTENARIO is the 3rd generation of carp rods in the Select Baits portfolio.

It features a lightweight blank thanks to the combination of premium 24T and 30T carbon, with the area below the butt guide reinforced with a 3K carbon wrap for added rigidity and resistance to torsion.

The components, such as the reel seat and guides, have been sourced from top-tier suppliers like FUJI and SEA GUIDE.

The reel seat is the FUJI DPS18 Graphite Black, made from graphite and equipped with black metal collars and EVA grips. This model is one of the most appreciated, durable, and versatile reel seats in FUJI's offering, a leader in rod-building accessories.

The guides are SEA GUIDE AB-TDG Twin-Leg, featuring stainless steel frames treated with Adaman technology. This PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment is applied to the metal parts of the guides, enhancing their resistance to corrosion, scratches, and mechanical wear by up to 10 times.

The tip guide differs from the rest of the configuration, featuring a ceramic insert (SiC) for high resistance to abrasion caused by braided lines. This ensures the tip guide, which experiences the most friction, remains durable and resistant over time.

The Centenario rods are available in various actions depending on their length and power:

Fast action is chosen for the longer models, 3.6m (12' T/C 3.5lb) and 3.90m (13' T/C 3.5lb).

Medium action is selected for the shorter models, 2.75m (9' T/C 2.75lb) and 3.0m (10' T/C 3.0lb), designed for boat fishing or dynamic, stalking fishing styles, compensating for their reduced length with a softer action.

To reduce the rod's overall weight and improve grip during casting, we opted for an abbreviated handle design, featuring a combination of shrink tube and EVA at the butt section.

The rod's design is minimalist and modern, with the name and specifications elegantly displayed in glossy black text, blending discreetly into the design. The Select Baits logo is in white, subtly integrated to complement the overall aesthetic.
